Joe Voyticky – Co-CEO

In 1992 Joe graduated from Harvard Law School and from there embarked on a quest to become a partner in one of the top tier finance firms. While progressing in his career Joe had the privilege of representing and working with numerous international banking institutions and Fortune 500 companies. The transactions Joe worked on in his career totaled in the billions of dollars. Yet when asked, Joe describes his time in corporate law as "sterile." Joe has found that meaningful business is done person-to-person. In his travels around the country as the CFO of Max, Joe was moved by personal interactions with Associates, and finds great satisfaction in seeing how Max's products and opportunity can help people improve their lives.

Joe was introduced to Max in late 2008 when he was the lead counsel for many of Max's corporate initiatives. In that role, Joe was amazed at the scientific breakthroughs that were proprietary to Max, and decided he wanted to be part of the Max team. His passion for Max's products is only matched by his firm commitment to apply his attention to detail in all aspects of Max's growth and to fulfill the fiduciary obligations he has to Max Associates.

Prior to joining Max, Joe spent 14 years as a finance lawyer in New York City. He worked at several internationally known law firms, including Hunton & Williams, Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw, Bingham McCutchen, Allen & Overy, and Pepper Hamilton. While working as a finance lawyer, Joe was the lead lawyer on many complex finance transactions, including leverage leases, synthetic lease deals, credit facilities, acquisitions, and securitizations.
